Polish jazz vocalist, lyricist and arranger Joanna Wojtkiewicz presents music from her debut album, released by the Berlin-based label XJAZZ! Music.

Rooted in the tradition of the Great American Songbook, the project offers a contemporary and deeply personal perspective on classic jazz repertoire. Through original lyrics and selected Polish poetry, Joanna creates a musical dialogue between the American jazz tradition and her own background, placing storytelling and interpretation at the center of the performance.

A graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań and the Syddansk Musikkonservatorium , Joanna works between Poland and Denmark, drawing inspiration from both musical traditions.
