Chris Hopkins(US) & Bjorn Ingelstam(SE) in Duo

Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, and Nat King Cole have inspired Chris Hopkins, who was born in Princeton in 1972, to develop a style of his own as a pianist. He has performed thousands of concerts around the globe, solo and alongside stars like Till Brönner, Dick Hyman, and Clark Terry. His discography of more than 30 albums has received such awards as the “Prix de l’Académie du Jazz” and the German Record Critics’ Prize.
His recent collaboration with young Swedish star trumpetist Bjorn Ingelstam explores the music of jazz greats such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Jelly Roll Morton. There is always musical fireworks when these two virtuosos come together and we urge you to join the fun. Welcome!
