On the occasion of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Denmark international jazz star, Sinne Eeg, has
invited one of Americas greatest bass players, Billy Peterson, to Denmark. Together with the
Danish keyboard favorite, Henrik Gunde, Sinne creates a unique repertoire of jazz standards and
own compositions for the occasion.
Sinne Eeg captivates audiences all over the world with her confident intonation, her strong
rhythmic sense and her charming stage presence. Sinne is a masterful interpreter of the American
song book, but in her concerts, she also expresses the Scandinavian melancholy. Sinne has a rare
ability to empathize and is not afraid to take chances on stage, which you will experience in joyful
extravaganza in both her phrasing and her superior scat improvisations.
Billy Peterson has played with icons such as the Steve Miller Band, Ben Sidran and Bob Dylan, but
it´s the first time that Billy is playing with Henrik Gunde, who is both a permanent member of the
Danish Radio Big Band and also widely known for his terrific Errol Garner-like interpretations.
