WORDS FROM PASCAL
As a person of brasilian/swedish/Indian heritage, I’ve always struggled to find belonging within my community until my music gave me a voice I’ve never experienced before, which I think other people would have potential to also find peace within. I find that expressing myself becomes most genuine through music and art, therefore I am constantly in search of new opportunities where I can share my music.
VISION
In a time characterised by fast rhythms and consumer culture, I want to take the message of love as a form of activism and bring it back to the nordic music scene with a modern twist on the classic funky sound from the 70s decade. Soul and funk are music styles that live on as a foundation in a large part of the worlds pop music today, but unfortunately, the genres themselves are very underrepresented. By performing live, I intend to reach out to a broad variety of generations in effort to spread music in a way that feels genuine to the message. In a digitalised world I still find that live events that create real interraction between me and the listener is the one that create the most meaningful impact on both parties. Therefore I strive to extend my reach in hope to meet new people who share the same love for music as me.
LIVE MUSIC
When playing live music I put heavy focus on what connecting through music is to me. It is less about having a spotlight for myself and more about the interplay that happens when I put together a group of musicians and friends that I think share my view on the matter. Together we create grooves and musical spaces that are completely unique to the moment.
