Tonight’s main act is the young 21 year old Copenhagen-based indie-artist, Evey. Growing up in a musical home, she has always been surrounded by artists, musicians and songwriters. With a dad running the UK and LA based Locomotion Music, a management- and publishing firm and label, Evey was from an early age, brought to sessions, on tours and festivals. Evey recently released her debut EP, whereby she wants to emphasise the young generation’s frustrations. Evey’s been featured in multiple international blogs such af Peachy Magazine, FAME, LOCK Mag and many more.
Through her music, Evey’s mission is to create a safe space for young people to express themselves and be loud together. “To me, writing music from the perspective of a young woman helps me deal with the many things in this world that need to change, be talked about and destigmatized […] With my music, I want to create a space for young people to speak their minds, because we all have a voice and equally deserve to be loved and appreciated for nothing less than who we are.”
