Aninha Paschoal (vocals and percussion) and Kadija Teles (piano and backing vocals) are two Brazilian musicians living in Spain, where they met and discovered a shared passion for the rich rhythms of their homeland.
From this encounter, the idea emerged to explore the percussiveness and rhythmic soul of Brazilian music classics through a fresh and distinctive interpretative lens. Their spontaneous, creative arrangements draw inspiration from the freedom and expression of Brazilian jazz.
All songs are adapted and arranged by the duo, who seek to leave their authentic musical imprint while promoting Brazilian music from a renewed perspective.
The result is a captivating live performance that takes the audience on a vibrant journey through Brazil — from baião and samba to bossa nova, samba-canção, and beyond.
In August 2024, the duo took part in the Tensamba Festival in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, where they were warmly received by the local audience.
In March 2025, they released their first original single, “Só não dizer não”, featuring accordionist Carol Benigno and guitarist Jurandir Dã Silva.
