DESCRIPTION:”Shampoo” er det engelske ord for ”shampooing”\, der har rødder i det hinduistiske Indien. Men ordet ”Shampoobar” er såmænd opfundet på Christiania i 2014\, hvor den dengang 18-årige Kasper Hedegren rendte rundt lettere rodløs\, men med store musikalske ambitioner. Bandet ”Shampoobar” opstod og fik hurtigt kultstatus på Christianshavn og omegn\, og debutalbummet af samme navn\, vakte især opsigt i Nordtyskland\, hvor flere turneer trak solide besøgstal. Siden har Hedegreen udgivet en solo plade i 18′ (The Best Birds are Flying) haft diverse sideprojekter med blandt andre Stig Møller\, Lukas Graham og ikke mindst det Københavnske Brazil Party band Obaile. men i aften er det tilbage til rødderne. Til der hvor det hele tog fart. Materialet er i store træk klassikere fra debutalbummet\, nye kompensationer tilsat hyldest-covers af legender som Neil Young og Pink Floyd. Men selv for hardcore fans\, der har fulgt Shampoobar i årevis\, venter der en anderledes oplevelse. For Hedegreen har rystet sæbedispenseren og sammensat en ny konstellation af musikere. Ind kommer Jacob Melchior på trommer\, der har mere end 20 års erfaring fra den internationale jazz-scene\, fra Brasilien er hentet bassist Rafael Minerbo\, der er uddannet fra Berklee College of Music i Bosten\, USA\, og endelig har Hedegreen allieret sig med den talentfulde svenske klaver bosker\, Johan Ström\, . Et stærkt musikalsk firkløver\, der varmes op af sing-a-song writer Strawberry Jesus\, der er aktuel med debut EP’en ”Dreams and Realities”. \n  \nENG \n“Shampoo” is the English word for “shampooing”\, with roots in Hindu India. But the word “Shampoobar” was actually coined in Christiania in 2014\, where the then 18-year-old Kasper Hedegren was wandering around somewhat rootless\, but with big musical ambitions. The band “Shampoobar” was formed and quickly gained cult status in Christianshavn and the surrounding area. Their self-titled debut album attracted particular attention in Northern Germany\, where several tours drew solid crowds. Since then\, Hedegren has released a solo album in 18′ (The Best Birds Are Flying)\, been involved in various side projects with artists including Stig Møller and Lukas Graham\, and\, not least\, the Copenhagen-based Brazilian party band Obaile. But tonight\, it’s back to the roots – back to where it all took off. The set will largely consist of classics from the debut album\, new compositions\, along with tribute covers of legends such as Neil Young and Pink Floyd. But even for hardcore fans who have followed Shampoobar for years\, a different experience awaits. Hedegren has shaken up the soap dispenser and put together a new line-up of musicians. Joining him on drums is Jacob Melchior\, who has more than 20 years of experience on the international jazz scene. From Brazil comes bassist Rafael Minerbo\, a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston\, USA. And finally\, Hedegren has teamed up with the talented Swedish piano player Johan Ström. Together\, they form a strong musical quartet\, warming up the stage for singer-songwriter Strawberry Jesus\, who is currently promoting his debut EP\, Dreams and Realities
