SUMMARY:Joanna Wojtkiewicz - Release Concert
DESCRIPTION:Polish jazz vocalist\, lyricist and arranger Joanna Wojtkiewicz presents music from her debut album\, released by the Berlin-based label XJAZZ! Music. \nRooted in the tradition of the Great American Songbook\, the project offers a contemporary and deeply personal perspective on classic jazz repertoire. Through original lyrics and selected Polish poetry\, Joanna creates a musical dialogue between the American jazz tradition and her own background\, placing storytelling and interpretation at the center of the performance. \nA graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań and the Syddansk Musikkonservatorium \, Joanna works between Poland and Denmark\, drawing inspiration from both musical traditions. \nLine-up \n\nJoanna Wojtkiewicz – vocals\nMateusz Kaszuba – piano\nMichał Rutkowski – double bass\nJan Szkudlarek – drums
