Bandet byder på egne arrangementer af deres yndlingsmusik fra tiden\, hvilket inkluderer alt fra kompositioner fra jazzlegender som Wayne Shorter og Coltrane til The Beatles. Sekstetten mødtes på Skurups Folkhögskola og består af unge musikere fra Danmark og Sverige.\nLine-up:\nEmma Ekman (SE) – vokal\nTeis Ortved (DK) – tenorsax\nSimon Wiksell (SE) – klaver\nEmrik Claesson (SE) – elguitar\nValdemar Rudd (DK) – kontrabas\nDavid Hartvig Schousboe (DK) – trommer\n\nENG\nSpace Race is a young jazz and soul band who draws inspiration and repertoire from the influential music of the 60s. The band plays their own arrangements of their favorite music from the era\, which includes everything from compositions by jazz legends such as Wayne Shorter and Coltrane to The Beatles. The sextet first met at Skurups Folkhögskola and consists of young musicians from Denmark and Sweden.\nLine-up:\nEmma Ekman (SE) – vocals\nTeis Ortved (DK) – tenorsax\nSimon Wiksell (SE) – piano\nEmrik Claesson (SE) – electric guitar\nValdemar Rudd (DK) – double bass\nDavid Hartvig Schousboe (DK) – drums\nKl. 18.00\nHappy Talk\nDK\nHappy Talk er et nyopstartet band som hylder musikken fra Cannonball Adderley og Nancy Wilsons songbook. Bandet spiller egne arrangement af sange fra deres legendariske plade som udkom i 1962. Happy Talk blev til på Skurups Folkhögskola og består af seks unge musikere\, som deler en stor kærlighed for Wilson og Adderley. Med en fod i traditionen og blikket fremad byder Happy Talk på en koncert fyldt af spilleglæde\, swing og show.\nLine-up:\nElvira Lundstedt (SE) – vokal\nRonja Andersson (DK) – altsaxofon\nMax Danielsson (SE) – klaver\nEmma Ståhl (SE) – elguitar\nJoel Oscarsson Löwgren (SE) – kontrabas\nSam Öhd (SE) – trommer\n\nENG\nHappy Talk is a newly created band that pays tribute to the music and songbook of Cannonball Adderley and Nancy Wilson. The band plays their own arrangement of songs from the legendary Adderley/Wilson record from 1962. Happy Talk was formed at Skurup’s Folkhögskola and consists of six young musicians who all share a great love for these two musicians and what they have done together. DESCRIPTION:Entry: DKK 130\,-\nTOBACCO\nTobacco kalder sig selv “Danmarks bedste vaskebrætband”. De spiller godter fra den amerikanske musiktradition: Country\, blues\, spirituals\, ragtime\, zydeco og “goddamn hillbilly”. Stilarterne mixes og smages til med energisk sceneoptræden\, 5-stemmigt kor og pumpende lokomotivrytme.\nBandet startede i efteråret 2001 og har siden da spillet over 500 koncerter i Danmark\, Tyskland og Polen. Mange kender Tobacco fra deres tid som husorkester i det direkte TV-talkshow ”ZULU Late Night”\, hvor de optrådte som backingband for kendte navne som f.eks. Medina\, Rasmus Nøhr\, Basim\, Martin Brygman og Julie Berthelsen. Udover at spille på et væld af spillesteder\, klubber og musikforeninger\, har Tobacco også givet store koncerter på bla. Skagenfestival\, Femø Jazzfestival\, Silkeborg Jazzfestival\, Maribo Jazzfestival\, Mariefestival\, Copenhagen Bluesfestival\, Copenhagen Jazzfestival og Fox Tail Festival.\nTobacco har udgivet tre albums – det seneste er et live-album\, udgivet i 2017 og optaget på Kayak Bar under Copenhagen Bluesfestival.
