DESCRIPTION:Entré Free\nNordic Wrecking Crew\nNordic Wrecking Crew er arbejdsnavnet på vores dansk/svensk/engelske kvartet. Bandet spiller instrumental og publikumsvenlig jazz\, blues og fusion med et strejf af nordisk lyd.\nVi arbejder normalt i forskellige sammenhænge som studiemusikere\, sidemen\, producere og komponister.\nSom sidemen har vi blandt andet spillet med så prominente og forskellige artister som Rod Stewart\, Shirley Bassey\, Bill Champlin\, Cornelis Vreeswijk\, m fl.\nI juni 2023 mødes vi med bandet i København til nogle dages studio sessions til en kommende udgivelse og i den forbindelse har vi fået muligheden for at spille til et uformelt arrangement på Drop Inn i København\, hvilket vi glæder os meget til.\nPete Dennis (GB) – bas\nBengan Andersson (S) – trommer\nNils Raae (DK) – keyboard\nPer Mjöbäck (S) – guitar\nNordic Wrecking Crew\nNordic Wrecking Crew is the working name of our Danish/Swedish/English quartet. The band plays\ninstrumental and audience-friendly jazz\, blues and fusion with a touch of Nordic sound.\nWe usually work in different contexts as studio musicians\, sidemen\, producers and composers.\nAs sidemen\, we have played with such prominent and diverse artists as Rod Stewart\, Shirley Bassey\, Bill Champlin\, Cornelis Vreeswijk\, etc.\nIn June 2023 we will meet with the band in Copenhagen for a few days of studio sessions for an upcoming release and in connection with that we have been given the opportunity to play at a slightly informal event at the Drop Inn in Copenhagen\, which we are very much looking forward to.\nPete Dennis (GB) – bass\nBengan Andersson (S) – drums\nNils Raae (DK) – keyboard\nPer Mjöbäck (S) – guitar

DESCRIPTION:Entre Free\nJon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band proudly plays all original grease slicked\, jazz licked\, funk-blues-rock that draws wayward wanderers from the streets and pulls them to the dance floor. In the six years since the band’s inception\, they boast a host of local residencies on the highly competitive New Orleans music scene. The band consists of Jon Roniger (singer/songwriter\, guitar)\, Brendan Michael Bull (drums)\, Bob Kling (bass)\, Jake Gold (keys)\, Ellis Seiberling (trombone) and Raph Zee (trumpetl). For 200+ shows a year\, Jon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band tour nationally and internationally. “Maniac World”\, their first LP garnered rave reviews; “New Orleans based five piece The Good for Nothin’ Band practically crackle with chops on each cut.” (Lydia Hillenburg\, Vents Magazine)\, “There’s something to satisfy every sensibility. This is an outfit with a boundless future.” (Michael Saulman\, Gashouse Radio)\, Their sophomore effort “Second Shot” released in April of 2018 and singles “My World”\, “Hello Beautiful” and “Do What Makes You Happy” released in 2019/2020 garnered the band appearances at Vinter Fest in Copenhagen\, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival\, The French Quarter Festival\, Copenhagen Jazz Festival\, Ingolstadt Blues Fest and Festival REM in France. The band released “Let’s Get Lost” in March of 2021 and “Live at 6010” in August 2021. Rave reviews came in again with the two new releases; “a band that is at the top of its game” (Dave Franklin\, Dancing About Architecture)\, “you’re not going to hear much better than this” (Anastim Ducray\, Stepkid.com)\, “those who appreciate new music\, will definitely want to hear this album” (Woke Chimp)\, “powerful performance that contains infectious energy” (Beach Sloth Music Blog). “Hello Beautiful” goes live on May 21 around the world as a full-length album with some retreads and some new material. AJ Hall\, from Jon Cleary and The Absolute Monsters Gentlemen\, plays drums on the new record. “Hello beautiful” also features Eddie Bosco on percussion.\nJon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band will be on tour in Germany\, Denmark\, The Netherlands\, Sweden and France\, Austria and Czech in the Summer of 2023.
