DESCRIPTION:Powershopping\, powerpoint\, powernap – Zebrass har opfundet et helt nyt power- ord. POWERJAZZ! Intet andet dækker nemlig deres altid veloplagte og energiske spillestil! At det så bliver afleveret med en guddommelig humor\, gør jo ikke oplevelsen mindre for deres store og trofaste publikum.\nZebrass blev dannet i 1998 af \, vel nok Europas største ”akrobat” sousafonisten og basisten Thomas Obenhausen Jakobsen\, og køllesvingeren Tobias Leonardo Pedersen. Lige så mange striber en zebra har\, lige så mangfoldig er Zebrass spillestil. Den kan kort og godt beskrives som rå svingende New Orleans funk på et plan alle kan forstå. Zebrass spiler både egne kompositioner\, og laver nyfortolkninger af gamle jazz og soul numre.\nMed sig på scenen har de Hans Leonardo Pedersen på powersaxes\, og Hans Knudsen på Power piano\, og som et ekstra krydderi har Zebrass allieret sig med Vincent Nilsson på power trombone.\nSå der venter publikum en oplevelse de næppe på forhånd havde forstillet sig.
