DESCRIPTION:The danish folk/rock band Gordon June is a fantastic example of a local band who has found their own voice and style.\nThe four members Jamie\, Jonas\, Emil and Alex have been making up the constellation of Gordon June since 2016\, and have since then released one album and multiple smaller EP releases.\nAfter the release of their first full length album “Paper Thin Walls” (2016)\, the band was signed at No Angel Records (Apollo)\, based on their work ethics and high ambitions when it comes to their productions.\nWhether it is regarding their recordings\, music videos or live performances. Their music has been used in commercials for both Comwell and Volkswagen due to their relatable stories delivered on a foundation of quirky but yet familiar approaches to compositions.\nTheir music has the quality of both catching and sustaining the listener’s attention.\nThe last couple of years\, where a big portion of the time has been limited in regards to live concerts due to lockdowns\, the band has been busy with expanding and polishing their style and sound\, as well as upgrading their technical setup.\nThey are currently working on a live-set as well as an EP and a music-video which are planned to be released during the fall of 2021\, in conjunction with the possibilities of playing live\, which will hopefully create opportunities for the band to come out and meet their audience as well as new listeners.\nGordon June består af:\nAlex Tao: (Vokal og guitar)\nJamie B. DESCRIPTION:BE BOP A LULA\, she’s my baby – sang Gene Vincent i 1956. \nSangen lægger navn til et band fra Sydfyn der har kastet sig over musik fra det spændende årti\, 50’erne.  \nMusikken var dengang et opgør mod det pæne establishment. \nOveralt i den vestlige verden tog ungdommen musikken til sig\, og der blev rocket\, jivet og jitterbugget på livet løs. \nElvis sang ”Jailhouse Rock” så hofterne næsten gik af led. Bill Hailey rocked around the clock\, og Ritchie Valens sang om “Donna” som han ikke måtte få. \nJerry Lee Lewis og Little Richard lavede hit på hit\, og hamrede hændende til blods på et hav af pianoer. \nNår BE BOP A LULA går på scenen\, kan man være sikker på at repertoiret udelukkende består af 50’er hits\, og der er ”gang i den” fra første til sidste sang\, når de gamle sange fortolkes med kærlighed og respekt. \nAlle 5 mænd knokler hårdt på for at formidle energien og livsglæden musikken fra dengang. \n  \nBE BOP A LULA \nStephen Russell – Vokal og guitar \nBrian Nielsen – Piano og kor \nOle Dorf – Bas og kor \nPeter Hellerstedt Nyholm – Trommer og kor \nKlavess Larsen – Guitar og kor \n  \nBE BOP A LULA blev dannet i 2010 og er ”still going strong” mange års live optræden fra fester\, spillesteder og festivals. \n
